Ravespresso is Finland’s first coffee rave concept, with its third event taking place as part of the Helsinki Coffee Festival program at Restaurant Hima & Sali.
It is a unique daytime rave experience where DJs and a Barista MC transform a café into a dance floor. The coffee rave phenomenon is rapidly gaining global popularity, and Ravespresso brings it to festival visitors to experience firsthand. The coffee rave is organized in collaboration with Elovena.

Coffee cherry husk, cascara, is a major by-product of coffee production that has long remained underutilized. Kaffa Roastery aims to make use of the entire coffee cherry, not just the beans, which is why the company developed the Kili coffee cherry energy drink. In this presentation, you’ll hear how this innovative beverage came to life and what plans Kaffa has for cascara.

Grounded is a low-threshold, meditative art experience built around slowing down and being present.
Using coffee grounds as your medium, you’re invited to create simple shapes, patterns, or abstract forms through touch and movement.
You can follow your own imagination or use visual prompts for guidance. The process is slow and repetitive: create, pause, wipe the surface, and begin again. Nothing is saved, the focus is on the act of creating, not the outcome.
In a fast-paced world, Grounded offers a simple way to pause, reconnect with your senses, and explore creativity without pressure.

Can the same coffee taste different in different situations? Does the choice of cup affect the experience? What about your own expectations?
Come and hear what research says about the factors that influence how we perceive the taste of coffee. This session might change the way you think about tasting.
